Since graduating from Berkeley Law, University of California in 1971, Mr. Jobson has excelled in the practice of family law. In 1980, he was qualified as a Certified Family Specialist through The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He is trained in divorce mediation and conflict resolution through the Northern California Mediation Center. Mr. Jobson has a peer review ranking of "AV" Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell (the highest rating in general ethical standards, legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, judgment, communication ability and legal experience), and has been recognized in family law as a Northern California Super Lawyer since 2006 (a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement). Mr. Jobson has been appointed as a Judge Pro Tem in Alameda County, and is an active participant in membership and governance in various family law county, state and national bar associations.
