An amicus brief was filed on October 7, 2011 by Chapter Fellows Ann Fallon and Barbara DiFranza. The Chapter was requested by the Court of Appeal for the First District to file a brief on the legal issues in Green v. Green, entailing the character of CalPERS benefits that were earned entirely prior to marriage but paid for by communtiy property funds. The case is pending and has not yet been decided.
