Pauline Tesler is a pioneer in the development of Collaborative Family Law, and a leader in the international Collaborative Practice movement. A certified specialist in family law since 1984 (California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization), she received the first "Lawyer as Problem Solver" award from the American Bar Association in 2002 and has been selected as a Northern California SuperLawyer in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Her practice is currently limited to collaborative law, second opinions, and consultation. She maintains offices in San Francisco and in Mill Valley.
