Margaret has practiced family law since her admission to the State Bar of California in June 1977. She became a Certified Family Law Specialist in 1983, and has been a Fellow in AAML since 1984. She is a recent appointee to the Family Advisory Commission of the State Bar. Extensive training in mediation in the 1980s, and more recent training in collaborative practice, have led Margaret to a shift of her practice to exclusively collaborative and mediation matters. In 2006 she was named one of the top 50 female lawyers in Northern California by San Francisco Magazine, and was also included in the 2007 edition of Best Lawyers in America.
